Pace Protective Services was founded by Charlie after he spent more than 15 years in law enforcement and 10 years in security work, including time as a correction officer and a security company supervisor and manager.

A Passion for Protection

After graduating High school in Valley Station, Ky in 1983, Charlie joined the United States Army where he served in the United States and Europe as a Combat Engineer and Demolitions expert. After his military enlistment Charlie continued his career with the United States Government with various Federal agencies, including Department of the Army, Department of Defense, Department of Dependent Schools, US Army Postal Europe and Department of State. He also obtained his degree in Computer Science from various schools abroad. He became fluent in the German Language and in 1997 started his first business in computer consulting called Pace Computer Consultants. In late 2000, Charlie returned to Kentucky where he started his career in Security, Law Enforcement and Corrections. Throughout the years of choice in this career field he obtained various certificates, training and certifications in the field of Corrections, Security and Investigations.

Always Willing to Help

Charlie relocated to Wimauma, Florida in 2008 where he then started working for a GSA contractor with the Department of Veteran Affairs. He has remained there on site and currently supervises the security detail at a National Cemetery located in Sarasota and Cape Coral Florida. As a Disabled American Veteran himself he takes a pride in his service to our Nation's heroes and family members. In early 2010 Charlie also returned to Federal Employment and currently continues his career part-time as a Field Representative. He enjoys the contact with the public and collection of statistical data.
